Introduction:

Thirumala thirupathi temple is one of the ancient vaisnaviest temple in the world. The deity being worshiped by millions of people each & every day. This temple is reported highest revenue grossing in India and next to Rome Vatican church in world wide The deity widely known in the name of Sri Venkataswara Swamy, Malaiyappa Swamy, Ezhumalaiyappan, Balaji, Srinivasan and etc; above mentioned are few of the lord name. The temple is one of the eight Vishnu Swayambhu Kshetras and is listed as 106th and the last earthly Divya desham; also known as Kaliyuga Vaikuntham. Yearly annual Bhramotsavam is very popular festival in this temple.

Temple overview

Deities and History:

As per vedas and Purannas (Hindu spiritual books), the temple was build by Visvakarma the man who is engineer & creator for deity. the temple had been worshiped by vasinava poets commenly known as Alwars and Acharyas. The present temple construction was build by Vijaya nager emperor Krishna Deva Rayar in 14th century and donated gold, diamond and Costly stones like emerald, rube and shappire.
Thirumala thirupathi temple is located in Andra Pradesh, India. Geographically the temple is located above the rich forest hill. The hill have 7 peaks  joined together the high altitude makes the place too cold and pleasant to worship the deity. the temple i shaving is own pond called Srivari Puskarani.

 The main deity lord Balaji sculpture made of stone which is above 8 ft  normally known as Molaver. the Molaver is non movable and accept only weekly Abbisakam, Neai vadiyam and daily sevas like Suprabatham, Thomala Seva, Archana and Yekantha seva.
Malaiyappa swamy is normally known as Urchavar which is above 3 ft tall and made of punchalogam (perfect combination of five metals gold, sliver, copper, bronze and brass) this deity is accept the Bhramotsavam sevas, Kalyana seva, Unjal seva and Etc.

Apart from this temple having Bhoga srinivasa Idol which is above one ft height and made of  Sliver which is presented by Pallava Dynasty in 600 AD. this deity is accepting all seva which is offer to Molvar. apart from this Spiritually the temple accounts details submitted to Bhoga srinivasar and having the treasure key every Thursday.

Offers and Prasadam:

Thulabaram

Devotees who are all coming to temple offering variety of donation currency, gold, sugar, raw rice, jaggery some times cow also. The offers directly placed in Hundi(the holy collection pot). There is a another method called Thulabaram. In the Thulabaram ritual, a devotee sits on a pan of a weighing balance and the other pan is filled with materials greater than the weight of the devotee. Devotees usually offer sugar, jaggery, tulsi leaves, banana, gold, coins. This is mostly performed with newborn babies or children. Many devotees have their head tonsured as "Mokku", an offering to God. The daily amount of hair collected is over a ton. This is the second highest income generating activity in the temple next to the Hundi Collection.

Laddu
 The world famous 'Laddu' is the prasadam of this temple which is having Geological Identification tag which entitles only Thirumala Thirupathi Devasthanam to make or sell it.  Many other prasadams are also available including daddojanam (curd rice), puliohora (tamarind rice), vada and chakkera-pongali (sweet pongal), miryala-pongali, Appam, Paayasam, Jilebi, Muruku, Dosa, seera (kesari), Malhora. Free meals are given daily to the pilgrims. On Thursdays, the Tirupavada seva is conducted, where food items are kept as naivedyam to Lord Venkateswara.
